The last few days have been quite beautiful.

I am super honoured to be a part of the Gateway
Festival at Bengough this year.

New Canadian Music reviewed my album - "Powerfully-voiced rootsy songstress Megan Nash impresses on her new album, Song Harvest".

Song Harvest is in the CFCR Top Ten again - http://cfcr.ca/weekly-top-10

Yesterday I had numerous chats with Prince Albert media to promote this weeks OSAC shows.

I got sit down with the Moose Jaw Times Herald to talk about songwriting over coffee. I could talk creative for hours. I'll post that story once it's published.

Songwriter's Weekend Recap

Last weekend I had the opportunity to collaborate with two fantastic Saskatchewan artists on the Songwriter’s Weekend.

Scott Richmond, Jobi Nichol, and I performed to a packed audience on Friday night. It was truly an honour to be on stage with those two. Strong musicianship, great songs, beautiful souls - it was an awesome feeling. I love song circles and that performance was a classic example why. Feeding off each other’s energy, sharing stories, having laughs; it was great. Plus, the crowd could not have been better.

Saturday’s workshop was an incredible experience. Everyone who attended was creative and passionate about their community. We managed to write a song about the theatre - as a collective and in under two hours. And not without media coverage as we had the Gravelbourg Tribune, Moose Jaw Times Herald and the Assiniboia Times at this workshop.

And to top it off, on Sunday the three of us sang at St. Joseph's Hospital / Foyr d’Youville. (Anddd the Patsy Cline sing-alongs made my heart explode).

We had a few local businesses financially sponsor us - Innovation Credit Union, DLN AgVentures, and Kingside Investments.

Thank you to Styles and Cafe Paris for selling tickets in advance.

Thank you Gravelbourg and the surrounding communities for the support of this weekend.
