After a feel good show at the Velvet Olive we had a spontaneous photo shoot in the basement.

"I don't know if my camera is out of focus or if I'm a bit drunk." - Mary Caroline after a couple glasses of wine. Ahhh, I love my tour companion.

Live in the Palmer Church

Photo: Mary Caroline

The Summer of 2014 was the most creative I have ever been in my life. I relocated to the hamlet of Palmer and bought an electric guitar.

(and wrote and wrote and wrote...)

This week the talented Brodie Mohninger came down to Palmer to record what I had worked on this summer. Over three days we recorded nine songs, live off the floor, in the beautiful 100 year old Palmer church. No plans yet on when I will release this material but I do look forward to sharing these songs with you.

Tonight I will be playing in the church along with Mary Caroline and Fish & Bird. 9 pm.

The heart of a frontier’s woman, the soul of a poet; Yellowknife’s Mary Caroline captures the edginess and beauty of her northern life. A haunting honesty is brought to life with ethereal vocals. Caroline will be releasing her first studio album in January, 2014.
